With the further research on key competencies,the educational reform based on the reflection of key competencies conception,including career education,will gradually become a trend.With the advancement of reform of college entrance examination,the implementation of career education in senior high school is imminent.Therefore,taking the key competencies as the basis,the reflection of senior high school career education is of great practical significance.Through the methods of literature review,comparative research,questionnaire and interviews,this study summarizes the influence of key competencies conception on the implementation of career education in developed countries,demonstrates the current situation of career education in senior high school.,then induces the essential issues,analyzes its causes and proposes recommendations for implementation of career education in senior high school.The dissertation is divided into five chapters:The first chapter clarifies the research background,explicates the significance of it from the perspective of educational reform led by key competencies internationally,the influence of college entrance examination reform on senior high school and misunderstanding towards current career education.The researches on key competencies and career education at home and abroad are collected and analyzed through the method of literature review.Based on the reflection of current researches' achievements,this part defines research routes and methodologies.The second chapter mainly analyzes the basic characteristics of the core competencies conception,and explores its impact on the implementary objectives,content and approaches of career planning education in developed countries through the comparative method which provides practical references for the development of career planning education in senior high school and specifies its development direction.The third chapter is based on the questionnaire survey,supplemented by the interview and previous research experiences,and it surveys the current implementation of career education in five senior high school in XS County.Then it summarizes the four main problems emerged during the implementation process.First,the objective of the implementation is relatively narrow;second,the content is more limited;third,the approaches of implementation are less diversified;fourth,the results of implementation are not satisfactory.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of the problems emerged in the implementation of career education in senior high school from the four aspects.The first reason is the fault of the historical process of career planning education;the second is the unilateralism of the nature and orientation of senior high school;the third is the deep-rooted influence of exam-oriented education;the fourth is the imperfection of guarantee mechanism of career education.Based on the basic conceptions of key competencies and combined with international experiences,the fifth chapter discusses how to implement career education and improve its effectiveness in senior high school according to national conditions and current college entrance examination reform from the perspectives of the nature and value orientation of senior high school,the objective,content and approach of implementation,as well as the guarantee mechanism and supporting system.
