How to improve the quality of teacher education and promote future teachers' professional level by deepening reform of teacher education curriculum are the common tasks of normal universities.Now,from the situation of curriculum reform practice in normal universities,systematic and superior teacher education curriculum system have not been fully established.In running teacher education curriculum,many normal universities still exist a lack of integration among various courses in the teacher education curriculum,and curriculum implementations are quite different,which has a certain distance to the requirement of national teacher education reform.Deepening reform of teacher education curriculum in normal universities is an imminent reality problem.The paper takes S university as research object,uses literature research method,text analytical method,investigation method and observational method,and then describes planning,design,implementation and evaluation of teacher education curriculum in sample university.Based on the above analysis,then according to “teacher education curriculum standard” and “middle school teachers' professional standards” put forward the countermeasures and suggestions on deepening the reform of teacher education curriculum in normal universities.The paper consists of five parts.The first part is “introduction”,which mainly introduces research origin,related research review,research purpose and meaning,and research processes.The second part defines the following core concepts:“normal university”,“teacher education” and “teacher education curriculum”,which are related to the research topic.The third part is the main body of this article,on the basis of acquiring relevant information from school,teachers and students,describing present implementation situation of sample university teacher education curriculum from the following aspects: curriculum provision,curriculum objective,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.The fourth part is research conclusion and analysis.According to the study,curriculum structure is relatively reasonable,but the type is relatively single.Branchcurriculum goal is clear,but the overall objective is missing.Single curriculum content system is complete,but it lacks integration among courses.Curriculum implementation pays attention to knowledge skills,but the training of professional ideal is weak.Teacher teaching methods have a great improvement,but they are still difficult to meet the demand of students.Academic assessment reform has achieved initial success,but it still needs to be further deepened.The fifth part,from the following aspects: adjusting curriculum structure,integrating curriculum content,innovating classroom teaching methods and strengthening the training of normal university students' professional ideal,proposes the countermeasures and suggestions on deepening the reform of teacher education curriculum in normal universities and improving the quality and efficiency of the teacher education curriculum.
