The new curriculum concept, which pays more attention to the cultivation of the students' ability. Micro course comes with the Internet plus era. Because of its own characteristics, micro course brings a new way for breaking through the geographical thinking obstacles and cultivating geographical logical thinking ability. Through the analysis of the literature, we found the current research direction of micro course, mostly concentrated in micro course design, application strategy and the assessment of the effectiveness. The articles about using micro course to cultivate geographical logical thinking ability are little. Most of the articles focus on senior high school students. It comes to the conclusion as follows. The three different micro course learning modes constructed in this article have great effects on breaking through geographical logical thinking obstacles, and developing their ability of classification and comparison,induction and deduction analysis and comprehensive. Using different learning modes in different kinds of classes is beneficial to improve the effectiveness of teaching.On this basis, this study used questionnaire survey, test, action research method to study the micro course on the breakthrough of geographical logical thinking obstacles and the cultivation of ability in junior high school students.This article selects the Xiamen Foreign Language School students as subjects. By the way of questionnaire survey and test, it finds the obstacle of the junior middle school students in geography logical thinking ability, especially in induction and reasoning, and analysis and comprehensive. We construct three different micro course learning modes:the learning mode of classification and comparison, the learning mode of induction and deduction and the learning mode of analysis and synthesis. We also develop a series of courses.In addition, this study also proposes application strategy of micro course basing on different kinds of classes. In the first teaching class, we use micro courses for self-preparation before class for the knowledge with lower logical thinking, in order to improve the effectiveness of the class. With the help of micro video in class, the teacher's explanation and guidance, the feedback of practice and the replay of micro video after class, we make breakthrough of these geographic knowledge with higher logical thinking.In geographical review class, after using the learning mode of analysis and synthesis and the learning mode of classification and comparison, students can systematize scattered knowledge better and improve their logical thinking ability at the same time.After five months of teaching practice, the micro course is widely popular among junior middle school students. The students' judgment, comparison, and analysis of comprehensive ability is increased from the second test ,homework and classroom observations .Their judgment and analysis of comprehensive ability has been increased obviously. The practice shows the micro course which is a new teaching way,has an important role in breaking through the student geography logical thinking obstacles and developing logical thinking ability.This paper provides some basic reference to developing student's geography logical thinking ability and improving the effectiveness of teaching, which has high theory value and practical significance.
