Daily teaching of biology in Yuxi No.3 Senior High School always emphasizes that students could directly remember the conclusive teaching content but not focus on understanding the process of knowledge formation.It can be regarded a utilitarian education,which is not beneficial to the students? development.With the “mooc” spreading to primary and secondary schools,its characteristics of large-scale,open and interaction can let students study at any time and everywhere they want and help them keep their learning interest,also help them establish their concept of independent study,as well as help them quit the state of mechanical memorizing and passive learning.“Mooc” curriculum can be beneficial to research the new teaching modes by teachers in various regions with the help of the modern information technology,so as to promote balanced education resources in the areas where the economy has an unbalanced development and gradually realize the education fair.So how to combine the advantages of “mooc” with traditional teaching in order to promote the quality of biology teaching in senior high schools is an important issue.This thes is is based on the Connectivism,Behaviorist learning theory,early Behaviorism,new Behaviorism,new Neo-Behaviorism and Multiple Intelligence Theory,which as the theoretical foundation of this study.And started to a study of introducing the “mooc” course concept into the biology teaching in senior high schools,which based on the related references and previous research achievements,in order to help students quit the passive learning style.Through analyzing the development situations of “mooc” from abroad and in China in recent years,summarized the tendency of develo pment of “mooc” and the advantages of several mainly teaching branches and communication platform.And put forward the advantages of “mooc” and its specific process and operating steps,constructing “mooc” modes in biology teaching in senior high schools.With the guidance of “mooc” concept and related theories,this study compiled four typical lessons on teaching practice of “mooc” curriculum concept in senior biology teaching,they are respectively: “aids and immune regulation”,“characteristic of the population”,“neuromodulation” and “nucleus—the system control”.and the four courses have been experienced in biology teaching in senior two in Yuxi No.3 Senior High School.From the surveys before and after experiments and the students? grades,it was found that “mooc” course can improve the students? interest and positivity by self-study,and help students firmly master the knowledge the have learnt,as well as help them improve their grades effectively,which is benefic ial to the development of cognition in senior biology teaching.In the end,the difficulties and problems exited in the promotion and application in bas ic education teaching of “mooc” course have been discussed and the “mooc” modes? prospects of application in the basic education in China have been talked.
