The Current Situation And Development Path Of Social Work Intervention In Community Venture Philanthropy

Different from conventional charity organization,venture philanthropy is a new type of public welfare social organization,It originated from the developed countries in Europe and then developed continuously to be a public welfare project with strong influence in the community.Venture philanthropy did not emerge in China until the beginning of twenty-first century.It initially sporadically distributed in the eastern coastal first-tier cities and gradually wins wide recognition in Chinain the second decades ofthe century.Related projects are not only promoted in the first-tier cities but also continue to expand and develop to Chinese inland provinces.This paper analyzes the current situation of social workers' participating in community venture capital management,and holds that it has an abnormaldevelopment trend in China.Community venture philanthropy projects develop in full swing in cities with better urban community development but stop progressing in cities where the social work of professional development is weak.As the vanguard of venture philanthropy inland in China,Hubei Province establishes project fund to cultivate community social organization,and takes the model of government purchasing social work service to support the project of province's community venture philanthropy in accordance with the original intention of improving the ability and creativity of the residents.In this context,this paper takes the project named Back to the Good Old Days-creating a quiet residential environment in Xiantao city as an example and show the specific process of social worker's intervention.The progress and the results are estimated for the social workers' intervention with community venture philanthropy and the achievements and the problems in the process are analyzed in order to find out the countermeasures for the problems in real intervention.In order to guarantee the effectiveness of social workers' intervention with community venture philanthropy to be exerted completely and chronically,the implementation of venture philanthropy project requires all aspects of work such as combination social worker participation with Community Grid Management,improving the service skills of social workers,strengthening the construction of social workers' professional team,expanding the publicity of social workers' intervention with community venture philanthropy and establishing a project evaluation and supervision mechanism.Only in this way can the social value of community venture philanthropy be effectively played and community venture philanthropy be developed chronically.
