A Comparative Study Of The Writing Systems In The Jiangsu Education Publishing House’s Version And People’s Education Publishing House’s Version Of Chinese Textbooks For Junior High School Students

Writing is an important aspect of Chinese learning.In Chinese textbooks,writing system which functions as a carrier to teach writing is one of the most important parts.A scientific and perfect writing system can give teachers and students the basis and resources of writing teaching and learning,which can contribute significantly to improving the efficiency of writing teaching.This thesis picks the writing systems of junior high school Chinese textbooks from Jiangsu Education Publishing House(JEP)and People’s Education Publishing House(PEP)as the research objects.The main research methods of this thesis are documentation method,comparative analysis method,mathematical statistics,questionnaires method and case analysis method.Some improvements are suggested on the basis of the comparative study of the writing systems in the two versions of Chinese textbooks.The thesis is divided into three parts.The first part mainly introduces the writing systems of the two versions of Chinese textbooks from three aspects of the writing system: presentation,content and characteristics.The second part mainly compares the writing system of two versions of Chinese textbooks with mathematical statistics method from three aspects of writing system: arranging system,writing instruction and writing practice.The third part analyzes the use and existing problems of the Chinese textbooks through the data of the questionnaire,and understands the expectation of teachers and students for the writing system.Then,it puts forward some improvements on the basis of existing writing system.Finally,on the basis of the existing writing system,it conceives an overall plan of the three-year junior high school writing system and the specific plan of every semester.Moreover,there is a detailed writing instruction carried out with one of the writing themes.
