Research On The Dilemma And Strategies Of Employment Education In Local Colleges

While China’s higher education is transformed from “elite education” to “popular education”,the country’s economic structure and development is also under significant transformation,and the employment of college students are in a dilemma of structural unemployment and selective unemployment.Employment problem for local college graduates is more prominent for its relative weak regional economic and social development and its backward employment information and its conservative employment concept.Therefore,helping college students,especially local college graduates in employment is an important task for our country and colleges.Employment education,which is an effective way in helping college students to understand the national economic industrial policy,to change the concept of employment,to master the skills for employment,and to improve the employment competitiveness,has gradually become an important part of the higher education teaching system and an important indicator of the connotative development of colleges.Due to the limitations of discipline specialty and lack of teachers,the form and contents and methods of employment education of local colleges are inadequate,which seriously restrict the effectiveness of employment education.This thesis analyzes grasping employment education connotation under the background of popular education,based on employment education difficulties of current local colleges,and focused on upgrading the quality of employment education and its effect optimization,and starting from the origin of employment education.Meanwhile,a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of College Students’ employment education in China is made.Take Huanggang Normal University as a case,the thesis studies the employment education in local colleges to accurately grasp the present situation of employment education in local colleges and finds out the problems in employment education;on this basis,practical reflection is made on employment education of local colleges under the background of popularization of higher education to actively seek ways to solve the problem of employment education in local colleges.Deepen the theory cognition,tamp the theory foundation of college employment education,strengthen the sense of reform and innovation,enhance the consciousness of college employment education;promote the transformation development,strengthen top-level design,strengthen the employment education system;strengthen basic construction and innovation mode,and enhance the practical effect of employment education,and construct and implement two wheel drive and coordinated developing employment education with new pattern.This thesis aims to deepening and expanding college employment education theory under the background of higher education popularization.
