Nowadays,China has achieved the transformation of the popularization of higher education.Under the background of the transition from a higher education country to a strong country of higher education,the quality of higher education has become a core task of higher education and has received increasing attention.With the popularization of higher education,the quality of higher education has received more and more attention.The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward quality requirements for the development of higher education in China.The quality of college students' learning is the key factor to improve the quality of higher education.Compared with the situation throughout the country,the development of higher education in Tibet is facing more challenges.Not only is the scale of the expansion of the security of the harsh reality of quality,but also the specificity of Tibetan education.Therefore,it is more necessary to strengthen the study on the quality of learning of Tibetan university students.The research subject adopts the self-developed condition questionnaire of Xiamen University's “ Study of Undergraduates' Learning Situation ” research team,supplemented by qualitative interviews,and adopts a combination of qualitative research and quantitative research methods.The main body of the questionnaire includes four dimensions: learning concept,classroom experience,learning style and learning gain.Interviews are semi-open and involve four dimensions of the student questionnaire and include other student information.By analyzing the performance of Tibetan freshmen on the four dimensions of learning and comparing the differences in the four dimensions of different freshmen groups,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Freshmen from Tibet University scored well on the four dimensions of learning concept,classroom experience,learning style and learning gain.Among them,the learning method scored the lowest,and the classroom experience took the second place.(2)By comparing the differences between freshmen from different colleges of Tibet University,there are significant differences in learning concepts among freshmen from different universities of Tibet University.The scores of the colleges of science,economics and management,engineering and politics and law schools are significantly lower than those of normal colleges and medicines.In terms of classroom experience,colleges and art schools scored significantly higher scores than freshmen,normal colleges,schools of economics and management,and colleges of law and politics;the highest scores were given to art colleges in terms of learning methods.Secondly,the college is significantly higher than the School of Economics and Management and the School of Political Science and Law.(3)From the perspective of gender,there are significant differences in the concept of learning and learning methods between female freshmen and male freshmen in Tibet University.The scores on learning concepts are significantly higher than those of male students,while the male freshmen of Tibet University score higher on the learning approach than female students.(4)From a national perspective,Tibetan Han freshmen and Tibetan freshmen are learning concepts.There are significant differences in classroom experience and learning style in three dimensions.The Han Chinese freshmen score higher on the learning style than Tibetan freshmen.Tibetan freshmen score higher on learning concepts and classroom experience than Han freshmen.(5)From the perspective of sources freshmen,the freshmen from the cities of Tibet University and the freshmen from rural areas have significant differences in learning concepts and classroom experience.Freshmen from the cities scored higher on learning concepts and classroom experience than freshmen from rural areas.(6)From the perspective of educational level of freshmen,there are significant differences in the learning concepts,learning styles,and learning outcomes between freshmen and undergraduates in Tibet University.Junior college freshmen score higher on learning concepts and learning outcomes than undergraduate freshmen.In terms of learning style,freshmen's scores are higher than those of freshmen.(7)From the perspective of the education level of new-born parents,the mother's level of education is more influential than that of her father.The scores of freshmen in the degree of education of parents in each dimension of the learning situation are higher than those of parents with low level of education.The deficiencies in the freshmen's academic situation at Tibet University are: There are still problems in the learning concept of memory knowledge learning,lack of initiative in learning,and obvious consciousness in exam-oriented orientation;in the classroom experience,teacher-student communication is a short board,and the teacher ' s teaching method There is room for improvement;many students in the learning style have a poor understanding of their own learning methods,lack of motivation for learning,and passive learning strategies.Based on the above research results,the author proposes some targeted improvement suggestions,including measures to improve learning concepts,improve learning evaluation systems,and improve learning methods.It aims to improve the quality of freshmen's studies at Tibet University.
