Reading is the life of Chinese.Literary classics reading contribute to the prosperity of Chinese reading, which have rich connotation and everlasting artistic value. And it is repeatedly read and admired by generations after generations, which reflects our national aesthetic style and aesthetic spirit, deeply filled with originality. The accumulation of students' extra curriculum, the cultivation of students' aesthetic taste and the influence of the humanistic spirit depend on reading literary classics. In Chinese class of middle school, literary classics mainly presented in the textbook, tutor and teacher's explanation with some vivid and interesting words or images. As to the reading of famous literary works in junior high school, the Full-time compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard(2011)requires that middle school students should make their own reading plans and widely read all kinds of books. It says that students should read at least two literary classics;the amount of extra curriculum reading should no less than 2.6 million words.Students' extracurricular reading amounted to more than 4 million words in the nine years. In the premise to the current situation of middle school students' learning, the reading guide of junior high school Chinese have collected influential classic works at all times and all over the world. The new curriculum standard made clear for students' reading quantity and target. It also requires students to be able to read independently, which means paying much attention to the feelings, accumulating a wealth of literature, forming a good sense of language.Students should learn to use different kinds of reading methods to understand and appreciate literature works preliminarily.Meanwhile, students can be edified by noble sentiment and literary tastes, their personalities can be developed, their inner world can be enriched. However, the most common teaching pattern in daily teaching is that teachers require students to put down the introduction of writer and general plot of the story, then comes to the character image analysis and the influences of the writers' work at that time;next, the teacher asks students to read the text after class without designing any homework or getting evaluative feedback.Teachers are talking, and students are listening with great relish in all stage, which cause students no longer interested in reading the text because they blindly think these so called general information about the text could help them get high marks enough, however, students are at the receptive and passive end during the teaching process, let alone building the reading ability and experience by themselves. We can clearly see the difference between the requirement of new curriculum standard and existing Chinese literature teaching, which leads to many problems, for example, students' reading abilities mostly manifested as listening to the synopsis of story, they can't calm down to read literature works carefully, they only have a superficial understand to the works. The writer analyzed the current situations of literature reading, aimed at improving students' reading quantity and ability, the writer also established effective teaching strategies about classic works guide from the three aspects: teaching, learning, and evaluating. The writer choose the teaching cases of The Stars,Life is a Moment,Water Margin to support his strategies. We hope that our teaching can be effective under proper teaching methods, learning methods and evaluating ways.We believe that our joint effort can help students fall in love with literature reading,as a consequence, students can improve their language literacy and humanistic quality.
