| Geographical practice not only refers to the activities of outdoor investigation,but all activities carried out by students,such as practice,experiment and inquiry,belong to the category of geographical practice.The ability of geographical practice is the will quality and action ability of people in geographical practice activities such as investigation and experiment.In January 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the general high school curriculum plan and all subject curriculum standards(2017 Edition),which further emphasized the cultivation of the essential geography core literacy of modern citizens,and the geographical practice as an important part of the geographical core literacy was highly valued.Based on this background,this paper is based on the current situation of geography teaching practice in Guiyang senior high school,and has carried out relevant research on the cultivation of students’ Geography practical ability.In this study,through consulting literature,the present situation of geography practice teaching at home and abroad is understood,the important value of geography practice teaching is analyzed,and the influencing factors of high school geography practice course are analyzed.On this basis,through the form of questionnaire,the teachers and students of three senior middle schools in Guiyang are investigated and studied.The existing problems in the geography practice teaching in the former senior high school have been found out and the empirical study through typical cases have been carried out,and the suggestions and general models of the practice activities of the geography class in the ordinary senior middle schools are put forward.The results show that the geography teachers have different understandings of the practice activities,which seriously impedes the normal development of geographical practice activities;the basic knowledge of teacher geography is excellent,but the guidance ability is urgent to be improved,and it is difficult to meet the needs of innovative practice activities;the existing practice forms are single,the effect of activities is difficult to arouse students’ interest,the influence of traditional teaching thought is difficult to be removed,and the inertia thought of teachers and students is the barrier of practice.In view of these problems,the following suggestions are put forward: the training of practical ability is the most important part of the training of students’ ability,and the practice ability training should be given priority to a variety of abilities;the general process of the course of practice should include seven links: plan design,material preparation,grouping and training,tracking guidance,result condensation,activity discussion and achievement display;the training of teachers in practical activities should be emphasized,and practical courses should be combined and worked together with many efforts. |
