The political education in the ideological and political courses of senior high school refers to the introduction of advanced materials with contemporary,ideological and social style into classes by teachers,who analyze the background and realistic significance of cases which enable students to obtain the knowledge and competence of “turning eyes to see the world”.Political education,which promotes the reform and transformation of political courses,is a complementary to the latter.After investigation,it is found that knowledge of political education is intensified in Gaokao,as it is permeated in every part of the ideological and political examination.Through the analysis of curriculum standards,it is found that our nation attaches great importance to the generation and application of“new materials and circumstances”,which reflects the higher-level of requirements for teachers.As teachers of political courses,we should grasp the characteristics of the time,constantly improve our quality,keep up with the pace of the time and be steamrollers of the time.Aiming at the theme of political education in the ideological and political courses of senior high school,Firstly,this paper explains the problem,research purpose and significance,domestic and international current research situation,and research approach and methods.Secondly,based on the meaning and characteristics of political education of senior high school,this paper systematically discusses the relationship between ideological and political course of senior high school and political education.Thirdly,based on the questionnaire of students and interviews of frontline teachers in Kenli No.1 Middle School in Dongying City,Shandong Province,this paper objectively analyzes the current situation of political education in senior high school,including the development of current politics courses,students' attitude and views towards current politics,as well as the application of teachers' current politics teaching.Fourthly,based on the analysis of the current situation of political education of senior high school,it is found that traditional educational evaluation mechanism,limitation of knowledge and ability for teachers of political courses,and the defects of current politics education severely hinder the implementation of political education.Fifthly,based on the calling for well-rounded education,the author summarizes a series of operable suggestions for political education of senior high school gradually.schools should pay more attention to the education of current politics education,carry out jointly dominant and recessive courses,expand channels for current politics and develop bank of resources and information;students should change their ideas about and arouse interests in current politics;teachers should improve their quality of knowledge and culture,constantly develop,meticulously select current politics materials,innovate teaching methods,and carry out political education through various of forms.
