As airlines in China expand rapidly, they need more flight attendants, i.e. cabin crews, to both serve their ever-increasing passengers and keep their safety during the flight. As the team of flight attendant gets huge, the problem of career management of them become much more crucial, paying attention to the problem and studying on it become fairly urgent.By analyzing the case of C airlines, so far the total number of flight attendants of which has exceeded ten thousand, this paper aims at studying the career management policies and practices of it with Super's, Holland's, Krumboltz's and Savickas' concepts, theories and inventories, to find its insufficiencies and provide suggestions. The body of this paper is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction. It is mainly about the background, significance, and research method of this paper. The second part is literature review, in which the core concepts, main theories, relevant literature will be introduced and discussed in detail. The third part is case description. This part presents the general situation of C airlines, its development these years, its inflight service level, and personnel changes of its cabin crew team. With the detailed analysis of the status of cabin crew team of the company, its insufficiencies will be revealed in the fourth part. And in the fifth part the author will provide specific suggestions for the career management of cabin crews in C airlines. Finally, the sixth part is the general summaries, limitations as well as visions of future study in this field.The conclusion of this paper is that only to incorporate the latest career development theories and practices in the world, through applying assessments at recruiting new members to providing counseling-based career assistance to incumbents, mainly female, with different measures applied to different persons, both airlines and individual candidates and/or cabin crews can be benefited. Accordingly, both the needs of high inflight service quality and safety records under rapid expansion of the company and career fulfillment of the individual can be satisfied.
