In recent years a large number of inspirational books were introduced into China market,the translation of which has also entered a new era, in the meantime, the importance of translation of inspirational books has become increasingly prominent. This is an inspirational infection text, the author introduces the examples in the book, analyzes the behavior and psychological development characters in the text, intended to give readers the spiritual guidance.The author cited text type Newmark's theory of guidance, solves the problem of long sentences and difficult sentences.With informative text and vocative text,summaries the semantic translation and communicative translation, makes rhetoric and long term easier to conform to Chinese expression custom. So in this text translation, according to characteristics of the text, a large number of words and sentences short,modified idioms combined with the information, and the English and Chinese language used to translate, realize the textual translation.There is no obvious boundary between the two.. In a sentence or sentence, there are always two types of translation.. A sentence in the function of the expression of information, and the subtle between the existence of the function of the infection. This will brought great trouble to the translator, so in the translation, the translator will pay attention to the sentences or words and the most significance of the fitting degree, as much as possible to achieve functional information of semantic translation; infection under the function of communicative translation and will eventually close to the original, it is necessary to accurately express the author information, but also to consider the reader's feelings.The article choose from Adam Grant's Give and Take. The report is divided into four parts: background introduction, mainly introduces the author and the significance of translation in this book; the analysis of text translation, introduces the characteristics of the text; case analysis, using Peter Newark's translation typology to guide the translation practice; translation summary, problems appeared in the process of translation and pay more attention of such texts in the later translation.
