This article chooses Thai students as the survey objects and uses the potential complement which are frequently used in daily communication as research content.On the basis of previous studies,comparative analysis,questionnaires,and bias analysis were used to analyze the biases of Thai students' potential complements.By analyzing the HSK dynamic composition database and questionnaire results,the errors and causes of Thai students' acquisition of potential complements are summarized.According to the rules of second language acquisition,specific teaching suggestions are proposed.This article consists of five parts: The first part is an introduction,it looks back to the achievements of potential complement in noumenon research that former researchers have got and the achievements of complement of potentiality in teaching Chinese as a second language,as well as the significance,objects and methods of this article,the author differentiated the potential complements and auxiliary verbs,also tried to find out the relationship of potential expression between result complements,and directional complements,and exploring the restricted conditions of potential complements.The second part is the investigation of using bias of potential complements among Thai students.Through the collection of Thai students' assignments and corpus-related corpus survey questionnaires,we got the Thai students' common biases in using potential complements with interlanguage theory and error analysis theories.The types of errors were summarized according to errors,and the causes of errors were analyzed from the aspects of relevant grammar research,mother tongue transfer,and learning strategies of students.The third part is teaching practice and suggestions of potential complement.It proposes teaching strategies and practices from the perspective of the teaching sequence and the internal sequence of potential complements,including classroom teaching suggestions,textbook compilation,and instructional case.The fourth part is the conclusion.
