Special education is an important content of China’s education, compared to the common basic education has certain complexity and variability. For engaged in special education of physical education teachers itself not only to have a certain amount of professional knowledge and skills related to, and in the ideological consciousness to firmly establish the devoted spirit of dedication. Needless to say, good special education sports teachers team construction to help the special children rehabilitation training, behavior training, and better adapt and integrate into society in the future, have a can not be ignored an important role in promoting. Combined with the practice, Chengdu City special education undertakings of physical culture and sports due to the late start, especially in the construction of the teacher troop, the sports teachers team construction is reasonable, will have a direct bearing on the Chengdu City special education of physical education teaching level and the teaching quality, and the future of special education sustainable development. Therefore, to start the investigation has positive practical significance.In view of this, this article through questionnaire, interview and other methods is Chengdu city special education school physical education teachers team construction status quo investigation research, the current physical education teaching in Chengdu 6 special education school research object, the basic condition of the research of special-education schools sports teachers, but also with respect to its sports teachers’ professional quality and professional training after investigation, and on this basis, further analyzes the related influencing factors of special physical education teachers team construction; The last part is the conclusion and suggestion. Through the results of data analysis, the results show that:(1) the number of special physical education teachers, physical education teacher education most is a special education professional, low degree of specialization, but also has the positive side, physical education teacher education is given priority to with bachelor degree.(2) the relevant national laws and regulations is not sound(3) the continuing education needs to be added to give priority to is strong, the sports teachers are unstable factors(4) the sports specialized degree is insufficient, teachers there are some deviations in understanding of career, etc.This paper further puts forward the relevant Suggestions:(1) based on the current development of special education reality, we will accelerate the establishment of a sound and perfect relevant laws and regulations;(2) give full play to the promotion of modern media technology, to further attract the whole society to join to focus on special physical education(3) focus on higher education, increase the intensity of support on construction of special physical education major,(4) strengthen the continuing education and training, special physical education teachers to improve their professional level and skills. This research aims to provide special school physical education teachers team construction of Chengdu some reference.
