Early in 2001, Ministry of Education launched a new round of basic education curriculum reform to change teaching and rote memory methods, and to construct the education system of basic education curriculum with Chinese characteristics. The Ministry of Education to advocates students to participate actively, eager to explore and more hands-on in the study process. The teachers should take the initiative to cultivate the students to form ability of acquiring knowledge, finding and solving problems and communicating with others, It is one of the main goals of education curriculum reform.This basic education curriculum reform has great significance and far-reaching impact. It has opened the prelude to senior high school biology curriculum reform. In this influence,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Ordinary High School Biology Curriculum Standard(experimental draft)" in 2003. The investigation-oriented study is one of the four basic concepts of the curriculum standard. Besides, it has pointed out the nature of high school biology curriculum is to enhance students' literacy in education, develop the students' inquiring ability, and cultivate their scientific attitude in their teaching practice.We take the inquiring study as one of the most important ways of learning in high school, in order to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability. Many teachers will encounter a lot of problems in inquiring teaching process. Aiming at this phenomenon,I have studied in Wei fang area. Through analyzing of the investigation, I find some problems. We started from the problem and found the root cause and solving methods in order to improve the student's grade..In my study, I used a variety of research methods, such as research literature method,questionnaire survey, interviews and other research methods. In my study, I pay attention to not only carry out theoretical research but also combine with the actual. I have done the following works: Firstly, I have found the theoretical basis through the literature survey;Secondly, I have analyzed the present situation in domestic and foreign research; Thirdly, I have investigated the implementation in the classroom, the attitude of teachers and studentsand the specific problems; Lastly, I have put forward the corresponding solutions to the finding problems in the exploring process. I have found that most teachers pay more attention to the inquiring study, but they are not used the inquiring study in the actual teaching activities. Many reasons lead to this phenomenon. Firstly, the lack of funds of teaching resources results the lack of experimental equipment and teaching material, and the teaching evaluation can not keep up. Secondly, lack of cooperation between the various departments of the school lead to overall planning. Thirdly, the teachers in the teaching process are difficult to get enough teaching resources and lack of energy causing that it is very difficult to grasp the role of teachers. Lastly, numerous curriculums pushed students to have little time to develop the inquiring study. In summary, only a small number of teachers could develop the inquiring learning in the biological classroom of high school.
