Both the head teacher, as the organizer and guide of the class, and class environment, another important environment for students'growing up and living besides the family, play an important role in the overall development of students. The head teachers'leadership style is directly related to the situation of class environment, thereby affecting the personality development and potential development of students. Therefore, the study of head teachers'leadership style and class environment has both theoretical and practical value. However, we got a few researches on the subject, not to mention the empirical ones.Based on the related research and the leadership style theory home and abroad, Head Teacher's Leadership Style Questionnaire (revised from LBDQ-XII) and Professor Jiang's Class Environment Questionnaire were taken as measurement tools to my study. The purpose of this study is to investigate the leadership style of the head teacher, the class environment and their relationship according to students'perception. Data were analyzed by using mean, independent sample t test,one way ANOVA and correlation analysis. The findings are, (1) The head teachers who teach different subjects and in different grades in the relationship-orientation is nearly significantly different; The head teachers with different teaching experience is very significant in task-orientation and relationship-orientation. (2) Class environment in different regions is extremely significant in the relationship between teachers and students, order and discipline and different in the competition; The head teachers teach different subjects showed differences in the relationship between teachers and students, and peers relationship; Different grades showed significant differences in the dimension of order and discipline, competition dimensions and were different in the students relationship; The teacher with different teaching experiences is extremely different in peers relationship, order and discipline. (3) The leadership style of head teacher and the class environment had correlation.What's more, the head teacher's leadership style were divided into four types. High task-orientation and high relationship-orientation comes first, that is to say, the head teacher attached not only to the study and score but also to the development of the students. From a regional perspective, the head teacher with high-high is more than those of rural areas; in terms of gender, low-high occurs more easily in the female teacher; from seniority, teachers with seniority of more than 15 years tend to adopt high-high leadership style; from the grade, the head teacher in Grade nine are more in high-high leadership style; from the subject, Chinese,math and English teachers tend to use high-high leadership styles. The head teachers with different leadership styles caused greater differences in competition, the relationship of teachers and students then differences in order and discipline.Accordingly, combined with interviews, empirical research and conclusion of relevant literature analysis, the author listed some suggestions for head teachers' leadership style and class environment in junior high school, focus on the pre-job training and job training, build up systematic and scientific evaluation systems on the head teacher and the class, improve the head teachers'abilities and so on to help teachers realize his/her own leadership style and help students to develop a good classroom environment to grow up healthily.
