The elderly education in communities is an important form of China's elderly education.As a significant part of lifelong education system and a key way of building a learning society,the elderly education has attracted wide attention and become a hot issue.Acting as the precondition of having the elderly education activities and the guarantee of the quality of the education,the construction of teaching staff has become the key fact of affecting the development of the elderly education in communities.Therefore,how to operate the construction of teaching staff has turned into an urgent issue which affects the healthy,coherent and sustainable development of the elderly education in communities.Regarding the elderly education in communities as the research object,the construction of teaching staff as research focus,,this paper takes the policies of the construction of teaching staff of the elderly education in communities into account and employs documentary analysis and questionnaire survey.According to relevant theories and using the elderly education in Songjiang communities shanghai as research object,this paper also analyzes the brief situation of the teaching staff in Songjiang communities and conducts questionnaire survey focusing on the lit eracy level,constructing ways and conditions of the teaching staff.All the statistics gained will be presented in Chapter four.Based on the statistics,this paper lays emphasis on the work adaptation of the teaching staff.The result indicates that their research abilities need to be improved,that their teaching abilities should be enhanced and that their theoretical study will be strengthened.All the above mentioned drawbacks are caused by the following four aspects.First of all,nowadays our society doesn't have an accurate understanding of the elderly education in communities.Besides,the basic situation of teaching staff in Shanghai communities is not ideal.What's more,the quick development of elderly education in communities calls for the higher requirement for the teaching staff.Finally,the result of teaching training is not effective.Based on the above research and according to the relevant demonstration and research,this paper puts forward the standards,strategies and approaches of construction of teaching staff as follows.Firstly,the core training courses for teaching staff should be developed and the professional training be implemented.Secondly,theteaching team should be built using the resources of community education.Thirdly,incentives and new approaches to encourage the teaching staff should be created to ignite the inner power of the teachers.Fourthly,reasonable appraisal standards should be set up to improve the teachers' adapting abilities.It is hoped that this paper can provide some reference to the construction of teaching staff of the elderly education in communities.
