President Xi Jinping pointed out in the national Colleges and universities' ideological and political work meeting,that strong education leaded to strong nation,ideological and political work should be carried out through the whole process of education and teaching.The ideological and political courses should take moral establishment and people cultivation as its fundamental task.By carrying out the ideological and political work through the whole process of high school education,we can not only improve high school students' moral integrity,helping students to establish a correct life outlook,world outlook and value,but also can achieve the goal of all-round people cultivation,creating a brand-new situation of higher education in China.In order to achieve the goal,we should reasonably use participatory teaching method in education and teaching practices,not limiting to knowledge infusion and classroom teaching.The participatory teaching method is strongly advocated in the background of new curriculum reform,which overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional teaching methods and perfects the strengths of the present teaching methods.This method adheres to student-centered principle,stresses on the students' comprehensive development,combines the students' life experience and psychological state,makes full use of various teaching methods,mobilizes the interest of students,guides students to think independently,and makes students actively participate in the teaching activity,so that the students can obtain knowledge as well as enhance comprehensive ability.However,at present,the participatory teaching method is limited by a variety of factors and constraints in the actual use in high school's ideological and political courses,being more of a mere formality and not able to play its role effectively.This paper aims to explore existing problems in the application practices of this method in the ideological and political course in senior high school,analyze the root reasons of these problems,and then put forwards corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This paper is based on the law of pedagogy and educational psychology,andcombined with the practice of education and teaching.Through literature research,comparative study,historical research,the author has a profound theoretical grasp of the participatory teaching method.On the basis of the description of the various forms of participatory teaching,this paper discusses the characteristics of participatory teaching,such as subject participation,interaction,cooperation,democracy,openness and so on.And through the comparison of participatory teaching and exam oriented education,the paper discusses the significance of the application of participatory teaching method in Ideological and political course in high school.Starting from the analysis of the main characteristics of the ideological and political course in high school under the background of the new curriculum reform,the author sums up four specific requirements in the practice of participatory teaching.From the whole to the part,from the general to the special method,combined with the data investigation and analysis,this paper expounds the present application situation of the participatory teaching method.In this paper,the author conducts in-depth analysis of various problems of teaching concept and practices for high school ideological and political education,and put forward scientific concept for the application of participatory teaching method in teaching practices.
