Reading is the soul of language education,is the students access to information,understanding the world,the development of thinking,an important way to enhance awareness.As an important part of Chinese teaching,reading teaching is not only beneficial to improve students' reading ability,but also plays an important role in improving the current situation of Chinese teaching.Therefore,we should give full play to the value of language reading teaching in language education,enhance students'language literacy,and improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching.However,the current traditional classroom reading teaching mainly around the single text,although this form of teaching to enable students to master a more solid language skills,but there are also some problems and drawbacks.In addition,in the context of network information,most junior high school students addicted to the network and games,language reading situation is not optimistic.In this situation,we must look at the current language reading teaching,try to read the existing teaching model and language teaching on the basis of a breakthrough for the new situation of language reading teaching to open up a new path.Therefore,I try to "read the whole book" as a breakthrough,through the "whole book reading" curriculum to explore the traditional reading teaching to open a new situation.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly summarizes the research origin of "reading the whole book",literature review,research significance,research method and research ideas.The second part mainly defines the concepts of "whole book","whole book reading" and"curriculum",and expatiates on the theoretical basis of reading the whole book.The third part mainly analyzes the present situation of reading and extracurricular reading in junior middle school.Although there are some basic knowledge and ability of the students in the middle school,but there are still two aspects:the polarization of the teaching comprehension,the polarization of the teaching subject and the fragmentation of the teaching.Although the extracurricular reading has expanded and enriched the students' language learning resources,there are some problems such as lack of reading time and space,lack of instruction of reading method and so on.There are many reasons for these problems,mainly due to the lack of professional quality of teachers,the limitations of Chinese textbooks and the constraints of exam-oriented education.The fourth part of the author mainly from three aspects of the whole book reading course to explore.First of all,in the view of curriculum,the curriculum objectives,course content,curriculum implementation,learning methods and evaluation methods of the whole book are expounded in the vertical direction.The book aims to read the curriculum objectives mainly based on compulsory education language curriculum standards for reading the relevant requirements,from reading and reading ability to determine the two aspects of the entire book to read the course content mainly involves reading the selection of books and teaching content to determine,The choice of bibliography to follow the classic,open,interesting and hierarchical principles,teaching content not only to determine the characteristics of the work,but also concerned about the real needs of students to grow;the entire book reading curriculum implementation mainly related to the implementation Before the investigation and planning,the implementation of the guidance and advancement and after the implementation of the expansion and extension of the whole book reading learning mainly using classroom learning,online interaction,independent reading of the hybrid learning style;the whole book reading evaluation focus on evaluation Subject and evaluation methods are diversified.Secondly,the author elaborates and analyzes the relationship between the whole book reading and the Chinese course,the language teaching material and the language learning field.The whole book to read the status of reading in the language curriculum,the whole book reading and the existing language teaching materials,language learning areas are not independent of each other but the relationship between the integration.Finally,from the school,family,social analysis of the three angles to protect the whole book reading implementation of the factors.
