As a global problem, poverty has long plagued the social governance of all countries, which is also a major focus of our social problems. In order to consolidate economic development and share the fruits of social development, our government has long been committed to poverty alleviation and development work.In particular, since the reform and opening up,our country has carried out multi-level and gradual poverty alleviation policies, which has made remarkable achievements in the cause of poverty alleviation. There are remarkable results of poverty alleviation, including significant reduction in rural poverty population, income level rose steadily, full coverage of the minimum living standard security system, and people's survival has been basically solved. However, absolute poverty is absolutely reduced, relative poverty is relatively increased in our country,anti-poverty has been in a difficult stage.Poverty intergenerational transmission has become the main feature. Therefore,it is important to pay attention to the intergenerational transmission of poverty, which will actively push forward the cause of anti-poverty.Based on the Theory of Vicious Cycle of Poverty and Human Capital Theory, this paper focuses on the perspective of intergenerational transmission of poverty and the living condition of minimal assurance families. It summarizes and analyzes the main factors that influence the intergenerational transmission of poverty among rural minimal assurance families by comparing the economic, occupational, educational, social, health and medical factors of the rural minimal assurance families and normal families.Meanwhile,in reference to the anti-poverty policies of America and Britain, the purpose of this paper is to provide some suggestions for alleviating the intergenerational transmission of poverty in China..
