Reaearch Of The Application Of Program Evaluation And Review Technique In The Project Development Of HPR4920

The diversification of customer needs makes R & D activities play an enormous role for an enterprise to captured the market aspect,so that how to quickly organize enterprises to carry out new product research and development activity is becoming more and more important.If an enterprise has time advantage on new products R & D activities comparing other competitors,then this enterprise could easily have a head start in intense market competitions.In terms of printer industry,given the development process of new products is complex and in long period,also new technology is usually required to improve product performance and satisfy customer,therefore R & D process is uncertain.That's why introduce schedule review method is practical and significant to manage the schedule of R & D activities.This thesis will focus on study of PERT method applying on management of HPR4920 R & D activities.First,the applicability of schedule review method to ensure the R & D activities progress by analyzing the theory and application of such project progress management domestic and overseas combining R & D status of S company and characteristic of HPR4920 project.Secondly,draw a network diagram among various projects,using the analogy method,the single time estimate method,the quantitative calculation method and expert judgment method for the duration,also three-point estimate method to optimize the project schedule in order to find the longest path of project and make overall planning around key path of project.At last,this article will analyze potential risk of HPR4920 in there major aspects which are technology,project management and HR management,and raise improvement measures regarding each risk.The research findings of this thesis play a key role for the HPR4920 project schedule,the purpose is that complete the project on schedule using minimum time and minimum resource via careful planning before starting project and critical control of project completion,what is more that this thesis will become a certain reference and guidance for S company to manage project progress in the future.
