A Study On The Competitiveness Of High-Tech Manufacturing Industry Of Hefei City

As one of the most important part of the real economy,High-tech manufacturing industry has become the forerunner and focus industry of regional economic competition,and its development has great influence on the economy and environment of the region as a whole,attracting more and more attention from countries and regions all over the world.The Report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China says:"We will work faster to build China into a manufacturer of quality and develop advanced manufacturing.We will move Chinese industries up to the medium-high end of the global value chain,and foster a number of world-class advanced manufacturing clusters."Hefei is the capital city of An Hui Province and the National science and Technology innovation Pilot City.In recent years,it takes the first steps in promoting independent innovation and High-tech industry development.In the next five years,Hefei will also aims at building itself a strong manufacturing city in China.Under the impact of scientific and technological innovation and the development of the Internet,Hefei's High-tech manufacturing industry is facing great opportunities.How to maintain and give full play to the advantages of High-tech manufacturing industry and how to seize the commanding heights and enhance the city's influence in the development of new period are the most urging issues in the development of Hefei.Therefore,it has a certain theoretical and practical significance to analyze the present situation of Hefei High-tech manufacturing industry and evaluate its competitiveness.Firstly,based on the previous literatures,this paper makes a general understanding of the relevant theories and research of competitiveness evaluation and High-tech manufacturing industry.Secondly,by way of the collection of data,mapping and other objective techniques,the author tries to present Hefei High-tech manufacturing industry as a whole and the development trend and the status quo in recent years.Thirdly,the paper is from five perspectives,i.e.comprehensive scale,economic efficiency,innovation capacity,sustainable development,and openness,building up the competitiveness Evaluation Index System.The author employs the entropy method,in accordance to the relevant data of 2013-2016 Hefei Statistical Yearbook,adopting a longitudinal contrast evaluation of Hefei's High-tech manufacturing industry's competitiveness,and making a conclusion that Hefei has a significant comparative advantage in automotive manufacturing other,which are traditional competitive high-tech manufacturing industry of Hefei,but instrumentation manufacturing and other transport equipment manufacturing are relatively weak.And the competition of high-tech manufacturing industry is still concentrated on the lower level of comprehensive scale competition,but with the development of technology,the competitiveness of high-tech manufacturing industry is increasingly reflected in the competition of innovation and economic efficiency.At the same time,according to a certain standard selected five other cities in the Yangtze River delta,the author makes use of the relevant data of the 2016 to carry out horizontal comparative analysis,and found that Hefei High-tech manufacturing industry as a whole and the strength of the sector is less competitive than that of Nanjing,Hangzhou,Ningbo and other cities;Hefei High-tech manufacturing industry has a smaller overall scale and uneven internal development,low overall economic value and imperfect industrial chain.And the overall competitiveness of the industry is weak;research and development innovation support is insufficient;the scientific research input structure is unreasonable;the Innovation achievement transformation ability is low;high-tech talents is shortage and it also lack of talent attraction and so on.Finally,the author points out countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of Hefei High-tech manufacturing industry,which including giving full play to the advantage industry,taking into account the balanced development of the industry,enhancing the value-added products and the supply capacity of high-end products,strengthening scientific research input,improving innovation ability,paying attention to the introduction and training of high-end talent,building a multi-level talent team,promoting information and intelligence and accelerating the transformation of innovation results.
