Microgrid can solve the problem of utilization of clean and renewable energy andpromote the sustainable development of the whole society.Microgrid communication network,as an important part of microgrid,is an important guarantee for reliable operation of microgrid.With the access of a large number of distributed power sources and one equipment,the amount of information in the microgrid communication network has increased dramatically,and higher requirements are required for the scalability,interoperability,real-time and reliability of the existing communication networks.In order to solve a series of problems,it is necessary to study the communication network and its performance.This paper aims to improve the communication quality of the microgrid,get the countermeasures to guide the abnormal communication of the network,and provide some reference for the construction and optimization of the microgrid communication.First,based on the construction of the microgrid communication network,the optimal architecture of the communication network is established by optimizing the networking technology and topology,and the intelligent substation IEC61850 standard and three layer communication architecture are applied to the microgrid communication network to improve the scalability of the communication network and the interoperability of the distributed devices.On this basis,the key equipment,data flow and all kinds of messages in the microgrid are studied in detail and OPNET modeling,and a IEC61850 based simulation experiment platform for microgrid communication network is built.Secondly,based on the simulation platform of the microgrid communication network,through the combination of theoretical calculation and OPNET simulation experiment,the real time and reliability of the communication network network of the microgrid is analyzed and studied systematically by the performance indexes of the bit error rate,packet loss rate,link delay,link bandwidth and utilization rate.In view of the factors that affect the real-time and reliability of communication network,the improvement measures of topology optimization,Qos strategy and congestion management mechanism to improve the real-time and reliability of communication network are implemented,and the real-time performance and reliability of the improved communication network are verified to meet the performance requirements of the system.Finally,a small microgrid communication system based on embedded MU is designed and built,which is improved for the problem of MMS message "sticky packet",high memory and forwarding time delay,and higher communication delay caused by message conflict.The transmission delay of communication message transmission meets the requirements of IEC61850 standard,and has high reliability.It lays the foundation for the extension and research of the follow-up microgrid communication system.
