With the rapid development of China economy,the development of city construction is accelerating,has brought new opportunities for the development of electric power construction.Due to the increasingly stringent requirements of electric power industry and the rapid technological innovation,competition has become increasingly fierce for the electric power design industry,and it will lead to competition among the human resources of design enterprises.With the reform of the national electric power industry and the main and auxiliary separation of China Southern Power Grid.It is necessary for S Electric Power Design Institute to establish a set of scientific and effective,performance management system in line with the strategic objectives of the Design Institute.This is a very important significance for the mobilization of staff motivation and career development,the smooth realization of the strategic objectives of the Design Institute,as well as the establishment of the core competitive advantage of the design institute.In this study,the writer takes the modern human resource management theory as a guide,and use the questionnaire,interview and other research methods to analysis the performance management of S electric power design and Research Institute.The problem of Design Institute performance management mainly includes:(1)the combination of performance management and development strategy is insufficient.(2)there is no adequate preparation for performance management.(3)the performance management process does not form a closed loop.(4)the communication and feedback of performance management is not perfect.(5)the application of performance results is lack of incentive and substantive.In view of the problems,this paper proposed optimization measures from the following several aspects: First,change the concept of performance management and combine the performance management and Design Institute of development strategy fully.Second,optimize the performance management system,keep good communication in the process of management,and promote the participation of all the staff.Third,strengthen the process control of performance management.Fourth,strengthen the organization and leadership of performance management.Fifth,strengthen the application of performance results.Research on performance management of S Electric Power Design Institute and its countermeasures can not only contribute to the sustainable development of Design Institute itself,but also hope to provide reference for the performance management of related power design industry.
