With the rapid development of our country's economy and technology,China's transportation industry has also made considerable progress.With the rapid and steady increase of traffic volume,the number of vehicles increased,especially the proportion of heavy vehicles.As a result,the "black pollution" of waste tyres produced annually produces tremendous pressure on the environment and energy.At the same time,the development of the transportation industry has also driven the development of the transportation industry.The mileage of roads in all levels of our country has been increasing year by year.The increasing traffic demand puts forward more and more requirements on the paving quality of all grades of roads;however,it is faced with climatic factors during the construction and use of roads,as well as vehicle overload,vehicle speeding,etc.,or natural or man-made.The factors that make the roads used for a long period of time are severely challenged.The search for improved road and road materials is one of the ways to extend road durability and improve road quality.In this way,adding scrap rubber powder produced from used tires to the most commonly used material in road engineering,namely asphalt mixture,produces an effect that eliminates the "black pollution" problem of waste rubber and improves the asphalt mixture,thus improving the quality of road.The purpose of this paper is to use a comparative analysis method to modify the asphalt of AR-SMA blends and traditional SBS modified SMA-Cyan blends;the gradation design of the blends;and the road performance indicators of the blends.Quantitative analysis of the performance of rubber asphalt SMA mixture and SBS modified asphalt mixture,at the same time through the relied on the project summarized the application of rubber asphalt SMA in Zhenjiang municipal road reconstruction process.This article puts forward the rubber asphalt preparation process.Based on this,the rubber asphalt target mix ratio design is studied and the road performance verification is carried out.Relying on the renovation project of Jiaoshan Road in Zhenjiang,the construction process and construction quality of rubber asphalt SMA mixture are controlled.Get the following conclusions:(1)After a large number of tests in the test room,the conclusion is that the rubber powder modified by the tire tire crushing process has a fineness of 40 mesh and the proportion of the rubber powder blended into the matrix asphalt is 16%~18%,and the mechanical stirring time is 45 min.Asphalt is most suitable for use in Zhenjiang area,taking into account economical and road performance.(2)SMA-13 asphalt mixture mixed with rubber powder modified asphalt,in order to reflect economic rationality and road performance,it can increase the amount of asphalt by 5% based on the amount of normal SMA-13 asphalt without adding The fiber stabilizer can also meet the anti-wear performance and construction workability of the mixture.(3)Compared with the traditional SBS modified asphalt SMA-13 mixture,the rubber powder modified asphalt SMA-13 mixture has improved resistance to high temperature deformation,resistance to low temperature cracking,water damage and fatigue resistance by 63.53%,2.49%,7.07%,1.5 times.(4)Rubber powder modified asphalt SMA-13 mixing material improves road performance,prolongs service life,and the total cost of pavement construction is 16%lower than the total cost of traditional SBS modified asphalt SMA-13 pavement.It has important economic and environmental significance.However,the construction temperature needs to be increased by 10 ° C ~ 15 ° C.
