With the increasing of port cargo throughput,the number of ships has increased dramatically in China.Therefore,the continuous expansion of the port will.put forward higher requirements for the construction of the anchorage.Anchorage capacity of coastal ports is now suffering growing pressures,which has become an overwhelming influence on the anchoring safety and the service level of ports.Ningbo Zhoushan port is located at the intersection of the North-South sea transportation channel and the Yangtze River golden waterway.It is one of the main transportation ports in China.The Xiashimen anchorage is a large-scale anchorage outside Ningbo Zhoushan port,insufficient anchorage capacity will result in enormous ships anchor outside the anchorage area.Consequently,it is necessary to concentrate on the optimization of anchorage planning.The number of ships that can be accommodated in anchorage is affected by the random factors such as the position of the anchor ship,the proportion of the ship type and the anchorage distance.To make full use of existing anchorage water resources,the experiments show that the anchorage capacity calculation model based on the Monte Carlo simulation,then the theoretical model and practical analysis are combined to study the anchorage capacity,and the anchorage planning scheme is proposed.This paper is mainly based on the Monte Carlo simulation method of the anchorage capacity research,combined with MATLAB software simulation of the anchorage dynamic,obtain the frequency distribution curve of the anchorage capacity under influencing factors such as the anchorage area and spacing.Following SPSS software analysis of the cumulative frequency distribution characteristics of anchorage capacity.Combined with MATLAB software to simulate the dynamic state of ship anchoring and verify the model.This paper studies the capacity characteristics of different shapes of anchorage,besides,the present work sets anchorage area as the decision variable,aims to obtain the regression equation of anchorage capacity about vessel length,and sets design vessel length as the decision variable,different size of the anchorage area influence the anchorage capacity.Finallythis study get the functional relationship among anchorage capacity,design vessel length and anchorage area,and put forward its scope of application.From the point of view of the actual anchoring situation,this paper makes a long-term observation of the number and type of anchored ships and the anchor spacing by using the AIS data.Based on a large of investigations and studies,the impacts on the reliability vary with the different meteorological conditions and the number of ship types,the present work sets the anchorage capacity demand and the safe distance of anchorage.In order to determine the anchorage area requirements of different tonnage of anchored ships,the function relation of anchorage capacity with vessel length and area is used to solve the anchorage area.According to the channel layout,track distribution and the actual use of the ship in anchorage,this research put forward the anchorage planning scheme of the Xiashimen,and verifies the rationality of the anchorage capacity formula and the adaptability of anchorage capacity by using MATLAB to simulate the random anchorage dynamic of the ship.This research provides a reference for the planning of the anchorage and expand the anchorage outside Ningbo Zhoushan port.Consequently,the finding in this thesis provide the theoretical reference for further study in the practical field of anchorage planning.
