The Research Of Chinese Education In The Chinese International School Manila In Philippines

Philippines and Chinese are neighbors.There are lots of Chinese living here.In Philippines,the traditional Chinese education started 100 years ago,so people have made many researches about this.Recently,with the development of China,the efforts of the Confucius Institute,there are four Confucius Institute and three Confucius Classrooms in Philippines.Some main-stream schools have opened Chinese language courses,also,researches are increasing.In 2017-2018,I was a volunteer Chinese teacher to teach Chinese in Chinese International School Manila in Philippines for one year.According to my experience,I did a research of Chinese education from school system,teachers,students,textbooks and so on.I hope that this research can provide reference for the studying of Chinese education.There are six main parts in this paper.The first part introduces the origin of the selected topic,research methods and review of research.The second part is the researches of Chineseeducation in the Chinese international school Manila including school,teachers,students,textbooks,classes and teaching methods.The third part is strength of Chinese education.The fourth part is shortcoming of Chinese education,the fifth part is suggestions to promote the development of Chinese education in the school.The last part is the conclusion of the whole paper.
