Research On The Supply And Demand Of Community Home-based Care Services Of Elderly In The City Of Wuhan

For 9 communities of Wuchang District,Qiaokou District and Jiang'an District as an example,this paper analyzes the supply and demand of community service for home care of elderly in Wuhan.Firstly,analyses of the supply include the two aspects,analysis of the supply subject and analysis of service supply content.The community home-based care services center(station)is the direct carrier of service supply,through field research and interviews with the staff to obtain information about community home-based care services center(station),including basic information,hardware facilities,personnel and expenses etc,and combining with the survey of elderly people in the community,to analyze the specific content of the service supply from life care,health care and spiritual comfort.Secondly,the elderly in the community is the main requirement of the service,through questionnaire survey and interviews of the 9 community elderly people to understand the old people in the community about situations of accepting service and meet the needs,and this paper makes a analysi's,about demand situation of community home-based care services of elderly in Wuhan,included the overall demand analysis and specific needs content analysis.Thirdly,combined with the current situation of supply and demand,this paper makes the overall evaluation and analysis of the relationship between the supply and demand of community home-based care services of elderly in Wuhan,and further explores the reasons for the mismatch between supply and demand.Finally,four suggestions are put forward to promote the development of community home-based care services of elderly in Wuhan.
