Study On The Supply And Demand Of Home-Based Care Service In Kunming

In recent years,more and more elderly people and their families have been troubled by the suffering of neglect,such as accidental falls of elderly people who live alone,lonely lives of elderly people,and mental setbacks of disabled elderly people.Moderate price and quality pension institutions are limited."Home-based care" to meet the needs of the elderly at home and relieve the pressure of children's care has attracted increasing attention.Home care service refers to the service provided to the elderly living at home,which can be agency service,home care service center service and intermediary service,with the purpose of providing convenience for the elderly without care.But its development still has a lot of inadequacy,need to perfect ceaselessly and upgrade.The main purpose of this paper is to promote the balance between supply and demand of home-based care services.Kunming has the highest degree of aging in yunnan province,and the construction of home-based care centers is the fastest in yunnan province.There are differences in the construction and development of different urban areas in kunming.In order to understand the current situation of supply and demand of home-based care services in kunming city and the development differences between different urban areas,this paper conducted field research on home-based care stations in three urban areas in kunming city,observed and inquired about the operation and use of home-based care services,explored the problems and reasons existing between supply and demand,and attempted to put forward countermeasures and Suggestions to promote the balance between supply and demand.After investigation,it is found that,first,the awareness rate and utilization rate of home-based elderly care have been continuously improved,but there is still a large space for the development of the number of people who know and use it.Second,the home-based elderly care site in the continuous construction and development,but there is still a certain gap to cover all urban communities.Third,the operation status of home-based care sites is both good and bad.The elderly's purchase desire and payment ability are low,resulting in many services being left idle and causing operational risks.The home-based care service supply in each urban area of kunming city has its own characteristics.The top-level design and organization planning of guandu district are relatively complete,the combination of catering service and medical care in chenggong district is implemented,and the government purchase service in wuhua district drives the service consumption.However,there are also deficiencies: inadequate publicity leads to low utilization rate,insufficient policy support leads to insufficient investment of social capital,limited services due to venue,personnel,capital and other factors,imperfect policies and regulations and imperfect regulatory mechanism lead to insufficient development momentum.In order to promote the matching of supply and demand of home-based care services,the author puts forward Suggestions from the three aspects of government functional departments,operating institutions,elderly people and families,improving top-level design,increasing publicity,improving quality,enriching service content,market-oriented reform,and establishing positive concept of care for the aged to promote the balance of supply and demand.
