The Traditional Ecological Thought And Its Modern Value Of The Korean Nationality

IIChina's Korean nationality,known as “nation in white” in history,mainly settles inYanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture.According to population census in 2010,China's Korean nationality had a population of about 1.83 million.From the middle of the 19 th century,Korean nationality began to migrate to northeast China on a large scale and kept developing in special historical background and fusing with Han nationality and other minorities in China,thus eventually becoming one of China's minorities.In history,settlement of Korean nationality was honored as township of etiquette and township of education,etc.It can be said that Korean nationality attaches great importance to traditional virtues and moral conducts.Korean nationality is royal guardian and practitioner of traditional moral ideas who has firm national belief and noble national character,values traditional culture and moral thoughts and carries forward excellent traditional quality.Exactly because of Korean nationality's emphasis on moral conducts in traditional culture,it can be concluded that traditional morality of Korean nationality is an important part of the moral culture of minorities in China.Currently,human beings are faced with a huge catastrophe of survival and development,namely,the destruction of ecological environment.The homeland that human beings depend on to survive is gradually declining due to human beings' excessive demand and transformation,which urges human beings to reflect their behaviors from the moral aspect,with a view to seeking sustainable development of living environment.Korean nationality came into being on the Korean Peninsula and some of them were forced to migrate into northeast China because of wars,diseases,natural disasters and other elements.Later on,Korean nationality was oppressed by imperialism and feudal forces.In such a special historical context,Korean nationality paid more attention to national unity,cherished the homeland they depended on and respected life more.The Korean nationality in history was hard-working and intelligent.In the long process of coexisting with nature,Korean nationality gradually realized the significance of ecosystem for human existence and found the best way to get along with nature through their wisdom and hard work.In this thesis,first of all,the author explored into formation factors of traditional ecological thinking of Korean nationality and then expounded the concepts of ecological thoughts,so as to find the connection between traditional morality of minorities andecological thought.Secondly,the development history and formation causes of ecological thoughts of Korean nationality were introduced.Thirdly,the contents of ecological thoughts of Korean nationality were elaborated in detail and analyzed from different aspects such as life,art and religious belief.Lastly,modern value of the ecological thoughts of the Korean nationality for the construction of ecological civilization was discussed.There are few literature researches on northern ethnic minorities in academic circle.In particular,there is no literature on ecological thoughts.As a member of ethnic minorities in China,Korean nationality has many moral sentiments.Therefore,the study on moral thoughts in its traditional culture can enrich the theoretical foundation of ecological thoughts and make corresponding contributions to the construction of ecological civilization.
