Practical Exploration Of Social Workers Promoting Community Participation Of Urban Residents

Community participation is the core element of community autonomy and an inevitable requirement of social governance innovation.The lack of community residents' participation is an important practical issue facing community governance.In response to the requirements of strengthening and innovating social governance proposed by the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,social workers exert their own strength,innovate urban grassroots social governance,improve the participation awareness and participation ability of urban community residents,and enhance the happiness and enjoyment of community residents sense.Taking the internship experience of the T community in Shenzhen as an example,the author uses the “community-building” intervention strategy to explore the “people”,“culture” and “view” advantages.From these three aspects,a series of mobilization work has been carried out,which specifically shows that the “people” guide the community residents to create a good atmosphere of volunteer service,and the “culture” aspect guides the community residents to create a community spirit of mutual support and mutual assistance.Residents create a quality and orderly living environment.Different from the previous social workers' dominant position in service,the author pays attention to the main status of community residents in the internship.As a social worker in the process of participation of urban residents,the role of the different roles is more effective: as a planner,planning to provide professional services;as a resource linker,integrating community resources;as a facilitator,to explore Cultivate community leaders;as an enabler,consolidate community to create results.In the process of playing these roles,I also encountered some difficulties: the role is limited in professionalism;the role positioning is not clear;the role transformation is difficult.Finally,the concept of “community building” used in practice has also brought some new thinking and insights to social workers.Through the efforts of social workers,the enthusiasm of residents' community participation,the familiarity of the community,the level of concern of the community,and the consensus concept of being a good neighbor and partner are formed,which promotes the community residents to solve internal problems and further cultivates.Community residents' sense of participation and mission.
