Research On Crime Prevention In Beijing Grass-roots Public Security Police Stations

On October 18,2017,in the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping,the General Secretary,made the report to the general assembly for the theme of“the run-off to build a well-off society in an all-round way,the effort to gain the great victory of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era".In the report,Xi Jinping clearly points out that the socialism with Chinese characteristics has been into a new era,and one of the basic strategy is to adhere to the people.As the public security organs,being able to adhere to the people is to devote ourselves to carry out the crime crack-downing and crime prevention in the actual work.At present,the public security organs generally adopt the working mode of "more importance to crack-downing,less attention to prevention”.In the actual work,the basic police station still has some problems in crime protection,which is far from meeting the fundamental requirements and needs of the CPC central committee and the people in the new era.As a breakthrough point,this article,through the study of three elements theory of safety management and information age government governance Theory,combining with the author' s own actual work experience in public security,summed up the specific work measures in promoting crime prevention in the gTrass-roots public security local police station of the Beijing municipal public security bureau.Through armed patrols deterrent,community publicity and education,cracking down on illegal crime,technology and material construction as well as community correction-these five dimensions,I analyzed the shortcomings of the present related crime prevention work,trying to find out the specific improvement measures and methods on crime prevention within the grassroots police station of the Beijing municipal public security bureau,improving the crime prevention to a better effect.We can enable us to make the work of crime prevention to be more effective and to the greatest extend to ensure peoples lives and property free from any unlawflul infringement through the following four aspects of specific policy proposals:inereasing grass-root police's political awareness through education;reforming the policing mechanism at the grass-root level to achieve the launching of being full-time;innovating the way of publicity and education to the change in work idea of technology prevention to physical prevention;optimizing the community correction methods to realize the effective support ans crime protection.
