Public security organs for the maintenance of the country's political stability and social stability important responsibility,as the administrative main body,its performance to a certain extent,affects the ability of the government management,with the comprehensive and rapid development of society and economy,various mass incidents and social security problems emerge in endlessly,the public security organ faces the task of maintaining social security is becoming more and more heavy,the inadequate,the police work long-term overloaded,struggling to cope with the pressure has become the norm,and the functions of the government in the process of changing from administration to service,the public security put forward higher update requirements,If the public security organ wants to do a good job in social security management under the background of social governance innovation,it must constantly strengthen the application of modern management means according to social development,improve the comprehensive quality of the team,and maximize the effectiveness of the public security police.Introducing the performance appraisal management method of public security police,effectively improving the combat effectiveness of the public security team,maximizing the enthusiasm of the public security,and enabling the public security organs to better exercise their functions in the new period have become a subject faced by the public security organs under the background of social governance innovation.The public security police in China is still in the primary stage.In recent years,public security organs at all levels have made many beneficial explorations on the implementation of performance assessment management,but there are still many problemsp which need to be improved and developed urgently.This paper takes the study of police performance assessment of the public security sub-bureau of the Z district of S city as a specific example.Guided by the theories of service-oriented government and government performance management,this paper studies the performance assessment system of the public security sub-bureau of the Z district of S city with the methods of literature research,comparative analysis and case analysis.In the affirmation of its performance evaluation results at the same time,find out the evaluation of the assessment is not comprehensive,lack of professionalism,imperfect evaluation indicator setting,evaluation method is not comprehensive,assessment and feedback in time,the assessment results using the inadequate aspects and analyze the reasons of problem,put forward combining establishment and assessment of public security culture,perfecting the evaluation index set,perfecting the assessment mechanism,strengthen the measures and Suggestions for improvement,such as the assessment results using trying to explore a set of scientific performance evaluation method and model.
