In recent years,with the advent of 3D printing technology,educational robots,raspberry pie and other terms,the word "maker" has attracted more and more attention,people from all walks of life are actively engaged in the movement of creation,including workers in the field of education.The extension of the concept of maker in education is bound to have an impact on our education.At present,our government has introduced a number of policies to promote the development of maker education,many schools have begun to pay attention to cultivating students’ innovative ability and practical skills.Wenzhou Middle School,Jingshan Middle School in Beijing and Wenzhou Experimental Middle school and so on have achieved some achievements in maker education.In addition,many experts and scholars in the education sector are always watching the development of maker education.This research uses a variety of research methods such as literature research,content analysis,questionnaires,interviews,and participatory observation.Firstly,the writer summarized the current situation of the development of maker education,and put forward the research focus of this thesis according to the shortcomings in the research through summarizing and analyzing domestic and international literature related to maker education.And made a deep understanding of the connotation and characteristics of the makers and makers of education.Secondly,according to current teaching situation of elementary information technology in China,designed the teaching design of elementary information technology courses based on maker education under the guidance of Dewey’s theory of " Learning in doing",Constructivist learning theory and New constructivist learning theory,Creative education theory and Happy education theory.Then applied the design of this study to the teaching practice.Finally,investigated students’ satisfaction though questionnaire survey and interview.It is concluded that the teaching design of the elementary information technology curriculum based on the maker education can mobilize the students’ interest in learning and enthusiasm in the actual teaching,and improve students’ innovative ability and hands-on practical ability.
