Group Work In Practice Research On Migrant Children In Interpersonal Competence Promotion

With the development of urbanization in China,a large number of workers began to move to the city.As migrant workers come to the city,the migrant children gradually become a group that cannot be ignored.Interpersonal competence is an important ability for migrant children to integrate into the city and adapt to the society.So this study is aimed at migrant children,start from the perspective of social work,and based on the theory of increasing energy and social support.Trying to improve the interpersonal skills of migrant children through group work,it has the feasibility and necessity of research.The author takes the migrant children from grade three to grade four of L primary school in Tangshan high-tech zone as the research object.Collecting data through questionnaires and interviews,and assess the needs of the service objects.Understand the current situation and problems of their interpersonal communication.And from four aspects of individual,family,school and society to analyze the cause of the problem.Through the analysis,it is found that the personal reasons for the interpersonal problems of mobile children are their poor self-cognition and lack of interpersonal skills.Family reasons are the family economic situation and unreasonable way of education.The reasons for the school are the unreasonable school curriculum and the teachers pay less attention to the floating children.The social reason is the difference of regional culture and the influence of household registration system.According to the current situation and existing problems of mobile children.Ten migrant children with common problems in interpersonal communication were selected to form a group of "go with friends".and designed six group activities in the early,middle and later stages of the group.It is hoped that through the group activities,each team member can understand themselves correctly,change their low evaluation on themselves and reduce their inferiority.Be able to experience happiness and sense of belonging in interaction and mutual help with other group members,and realize the meaning of interpersonal communication,and help team members improve their interpersonal skills through professional work methods.Finally,a summary of the study was made,and the work of the group is feasible in improving the interpersonal skills of mobile children.It also rethinks some inadequaciesand puts forward some suggestions to improve the interpersonal communication ability of mobile children.It is hoped that the research of this article can provide some reference for other social work related to mobile children.
