Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The High Grade Chinese Extracurricular Homework Design In Primary School

The design of Chinese extracurricular homework in primary school is a continuation of teacher-designed class teaching activities.Teachers’ well-designed homework can stimulate students’ interest in learning Chinese and improve the quality of students’ homework.Since the reformation of the new curriculum,many teachers have begun to focus on how to design classroom teaching,but they neglected the design of Chinese extracurricular homework.Although some researchers pay attention to the problems which exist in the design of Chinese extracurricular homework,there are relatively few studies specifically devote to for the upper grades of elementary school.This study mainly adopts literature research methods,questionnaire surveys,and interviews.The investigator randomly selected Chinese teachers and students from the fifth and sixth grade of four primary schools in X city to conduct questionnaires surveys.In addition,the investigator interviewed some teachers and carried out data collection and result statistics.According to investigation and summary,the problems are found as followed: inadequate understanding of the teacher’s homework design,the design of Chinese extracurricular homework which is single in content and monotonous in form and lack of evaluation of Chinese extracurricular homework design.The attribution analysis of problems mainly includes the following reasons: teachers lack the value and ability of homework design;teachers are short of the concept of implementing the three-dimensional goals;teachers don’t fully understand students;the management of school is not enough.The problems and causes that emerged were raised,and suggestions for improvement were put forward,including: improving the recognition of design of extracurricular homework to focus on personalization;enriching the design of extracurricular homework to highlight the openness;innovating the forms of extracurricular homework design to highlight diversity;improving the evaluation of extracurricular homework to achieve development.
