Research On Entrepreneurship Education In Higher Vocational Colleges Based On SYB Model

The main task of Higher Vocational Education in the new era is not only to train high-quality technical and skilled talents,but also to cultivate high-quality talents with entrepreneurial spirit and the courage to practice.In recent years,under the severe employment situation,college students’ entrepreneurship education has been highly concerned by the society,government,and universities.The introduction of SYB mode into entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges aims to cultivate high-quality workers with entrepreneurial spirit and entrepreneurial ability for the society,which is of great significance to relieve employment pressure,deepen the reform of higher vocational education,and promote social and economic development.SYB,that is,"start your business",is a training program developed by the International Labour Organization for the training of small business founders.SYB project was introduced into China in early twenty-first Century,and its training mode has been favored by the majority of entrepreneurs,but the introduction of SYB mode in higher vocational colleges is only a few years,and it is not systematic yet immature.Therefore,how to better integrate SYB model into entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges is a major issue we are facing.This paper takes X College of Vocational and Technical in Changsha,Hunan province as the object of study,and investigates around the X college students’ views on entrepreneurship education,and the implementation effect of the SYB mode.The questionnaire survey,which is to understand the role of students’ needs for SYB mode and the effect of SYB model entrepreneurship education on Students,will lay a foundation for further SYB mode entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges in the future.The Interview with the teachers of entrepreneurship education at X College is to understand the current situation and problems of implementing SYB mode entrepreneurship education.The interview with students from X College is to summarize the entrepreneurial experience,refine the characteristics of entrepreneurship,and put forward some suggestions on entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges.Finally,based on the investigation and analysis of the successful experience of entrepreneurship education at home and abroad,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for developing SYB mode entrepreneurship education in Higher Vocational Colleges,including clear entrepreneurship education ideas,scientific positioning training objectives,flexible use of teaching methods,improve entrepreneurship education supporting measures.The supporting measures include constructing multi-level curriculum system,building diversified teaching staff,creating a good entrepreneurial culture atmosphere,perfecting multi support system,and establishing a scientific evaluation system.
