College counselors are an important force in ideological and political education in colleges and universities and are mainly engaged in students' ideological and political education as well as their daily life,study and management,and other work.High intensity of work pressure and low self-achievement makes college counselors become high incidence of burnout groups,seriously affecting the counselors work efficiency and career stability development.Existing researches mostly focus on the relationship between single internal factors and job burnout,but few studies consider the combined effect of multiple internal factors on job burnout,and it is not clear whether the impact of these intrinsic cognitive factors on job burnout will be disturbed or supported by other factors.Therefore,this study takes college counselors as research objects,and from the perspective of self-efficacy,discusses the impact of vocational identity on college counselors' job burnout.In this study,190 college counselors were recruited as the research objects.College counselors occupational identity scale,burnout scale and general self-efficacy scale were used to explore the relationship between college counselors' job identity,job burnout and self-efficacy relationship.The results showed that career counseling and job burnout among college counselors was significantly negatively correlated.That is,the higher vocational counseling counselors,the lower the sense of job burnout.There was a significant negative correlation between college counselors' self-efficacy and job burnout,higher self-efficacy of college counselors,and lower job burnout.Moreover,self-efficacy plays an important role in the adjustment of college counselors' professional identity,burnout and the dimensions of emotional exhaustion and cynicism.The results show that college counselors occupational identity and job burnout was significantly negatively correlated,college counselors self-efficacy and job burnout was significantly negatively correlated,and self-efficacy plays a role in the adjustment between college counselors' professional identity and job burnout.
