With the continuous progress of the new curriculum reform,the goal of cultivating elementary information technology courses has been changed from recognizing theoretical knowledge and mastering operational skills to the cultivation of core qualities,including computational thinking,information awareness,digital learning and innovation,and information society responsibility.Exploring teaching project design methods that cultivate students' core qualities and adapt to the digital learning environment is of great significance in meeting the needs of curriculum teaching and implementing new curriculum reforms.This research system summarizes the relevant theories and practical experiences of domestic and foreign education on maker education.It confirms that there is less research on theory in foreign countries and has achieved more results in practice.It has a strong reference for China.China's research on maker education has started relatively late.It has less practical experience that integrates maker education and project design.Compared with developed countries,research content and achievements have yet to be enriched and improved,especially in the field of information technology curriculum teaching.This study builds an elementary school information technology course teaching project design process based on the maker education,which can provide effective experience for the elementary school information technology curriculum teaching reform.This research mainly uses the literature analysis method and investigation method,analyzes the nature of information technology courses,curriculum objectives and implementation of the curriculum,and defines the integration of information technology courses and maker education.Drawing lessons from existing theoretical achievements and practical experience,the paper comprehensively analyzes the relevant elements of elementary school information technology curriculum teaching project design based on maker education,clarifies the constituent elements of the elementary information technology curriculum teaching project and the positioning of project content,and proposes project design strategies and principles.And evaluation scale,to build and improve the project design process,the process includes demand capture,project development,project implementation,analysis and evaluation,review and summary and update,six parts continue to cycle,making the project design more reasonable and effective.Based on the project design process and basic principles and strategies,three project topics were selected from the textbooks to design project cases and teaching cases.Three rounds of research were conducted through experimental research methods.It was found that students' satisfaction with project design was high and innovation was based on innovation.The teaching project design of guest education is conducive to improving students' attitudes towards learning information technology,enhancing students' creativity,and improving students' collaboration skills.
