The concept of space-time is the consciousness and way of thinking of observing and analyzing things in a specific temporal connection and spatial connection.It is a key ability that the high school history learning stage needs to gradually acquire through the study of historical disciplines.In the five major core literacy disciplines of history disciplines that were enacted in 2017,the concept of time and space is second only to historical materialism and is in the second position.The teaching practice found that some students have problems such as lack of understanding of time and space,unclear historical sequence,and lack of understanding of the concept of historical space.Aiming at the problem of vagueness or even lack of space-time concept,this paper puts forward the strategy of cultivating time and space concepts: firstly,teachers integrate teaching resources by fully excavating the curriculum standard and teaching materials and improving teaching design;Second,teachers guide students to learn to use time terms and understand history.The methods of stage division,drawing time charts,correct analysis of historical maps,and analysis of the horizontal connections of historical events are some of the ways to cultivate the concept of time and space.The third is to develop the spatial and temporal view of students through the integration of time and space.Taking the teaching design of "The Origin and Development of Roman Law" as an example,it puts forward specific ideas on how to perfect teaching objectives,adjust teaching emphasis and difficulties,optimize teaching methods and innovate teaching process design under the guidance of the concept of space-time.Through the reflection on the teaching design and practice of "The Origin and Development of Roman Law",it is pointed out that the concept of time and space needs to pay attention to a few issues that need attention: First,grasp the key,that is,guide clear key time points and time periods;Second,focus on the key,that is,Whenguiding students in the horizontal and vertical communication of space,typical examples should be selected,and they should be concise and proper.Third,the concept of time and space must be cultivated to grasp the degree of goodness.Instant empty view is not the focus of lectures,but how to conduct it under the guidance of space-time concepts Historical understanding and historical explanation are the key points.In previous studies,theoretical research was neglected and practice research was neglected.The teaching design of "The Origin and Development of Roman Law",a compulsory subject in senior high school history,was a typical case.Therefore,how to train students' time and space concepts in history teaching requires teachers and students to go together.Efforts,this article puts forward the corresponding strategies based on the analysis of the current status of time and space training,and then discusses how to cultivate students' time and space views through concrete examples of "The Origin and Development of Roman Law" and promote the further improvement of students' historical qualities.
