The basic concept of high school information technology course,which is put forward in the"Technical Curriculum Standard(experiment)of Ordinary High School",mainly includes the following features:improving the public’s information literacy and cultivating qualified citizens in the information age;creating a good information environment and building a platform for lifelong learning;taking care of all students and building characteristic information technology courses;emphasizing problem solving and advocating the use of information technology for innovative practice;focusing on communication and cooperation and aiming to build a healthy information culture through joint efforts.The Xifeng district of Qingyang city,located in the eastern part of Gansu province,is an old revolutionary base area with a relatively backward level of education development.Moreover,there is a distinct difference among each school on the attitudes towards information technology teaching,hardware equipment as well as teaching faculties,owing to the different distribution of capital investment,resources construction,and other supports by the municipal government.The author has long been a senior high school information technology teacher in Xifeng district,made a thorough investigation from the perspective of practical work on the information technology curriculum popularization and curriculum implementation of several secondary schools in Xifeng city by making field visits,distributing and analyzing questionnaires,class observation as well as other methods.It is found that there are many problems and deficiencies in the teaching of the information technology courses calling for further improvement in these high schools in Xifeng district.This paper,starting from the present situation of information technology course teaching in Xifeng district,analyzes the existing problems and puts forward some corresponding improvement strategies,which have reference value for the future information technology courses teaching of high schools in Xifeng district.The whole thesis consists of six parts:Part one is the introduction,which expounds the background,purpose,status,significance,content and methods of the research.The second part is the definition of the core concept and the theoretical basis of research,which mainly expounds the related concepts,learning theory,teaching system design theory and the interpretation of the new curriculum standard of high school information technology.The third part is the investigation of the teaching status of information technology course in Xifeng district.Field visits,questionnaires,class observation and other methods are used to investigate the status of hardware resources environment,teaching faculties and students in learning information technology curriculum of Xifeng district.The fourth part expounds the teaching problems on information technology course in Xifeng district by analyzing the results of questionnaire statistics and teaching practice of this district,and makes an in-depth explanation from the three levels of school,teachers and students.The fifth part puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies of high school information technology curriculum in Xifeng district by combining the analysis results of the fourth part and the author’s teaching practice.The last part is the summary and prospect.It summarizes the research results of this paper,analyzes the innovation and deficiency of the research,and proposes suggestions for the future research. |
