Love And Resentment: A Survey On The Turnover Intention Of Middle School Teachers In Poor Areas Of Gansu

In recent years,with the support of the government,the education in poor areas in China has gradually developed.But a lot of teacher turnover phenomenon still exists in poor areas of Gansu,influencing local education and teaching of the school.In this study,we use a poor county of Gansu province,T County as the sample,using the method of questionnaire and interview.The turnover intention of middle school teachers in poor areas of Gansu was investigated and the reasons of teacher turnover have found following the investigation.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that teachers' attrition intention in poor areas of Gansu is significantly higher than that of teacher mobility,and the gender difference is significant.Through interviews,we know that teachers in poor areas of Gansu's love their profession,but multiple factors lead to their turnover intention,which lie mainly in six reasons.Teachers' personal characteristics;the emergence of work-family conflict;the lack of humanization in school management;the backwardness of teachers' teaching hardware facilities;the limited career development space;According to the problems above,six countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.They are stricting teachers' access;strengthening teachers' post-service education;building a positive social support system for teachers;perfecting teaching Teacher appraisal system;improving school management;perfect teacher withdrawal mechanism.
