With the development of urbanization,local culture is gradually being marginalized by the influence of the mainstream culture of the city.As the propagator and inheritor of the local civilization,the rural schools take on the important mission of the development and inheritance of the local culture.How to achieve the continuity of rural culture in the daily teaching of rural schools is a problem to be solved urgently,and integrating local culture into the class is one of the effective ways to solve this problem.Integrating local culture into class is a teacher who has purpose and plan to integrate the local culture and various elements of class,in this way to improve students' native cognition,cultivate students' local emotion,stimulate students' willingness and ability of home building,it is one of the local cultural education mode of students.This paper based on the analysis of domestic and foreign literature of relevant studies,elaborated the connotation,theoretical basis,necessity and feasibility,mechanism and approach to promote the theory and the status and effect in practice.This study adopts questionnaire method and interview method,carries on the investigation at four rural middle schools in Wenxi County of Shanxi province,and found there are some problems in the process of the integration of local culture and class in those four rural middle schools,mainly are teachers lack the activity to integrate local culture into their class;the content of local culture that integrated in the class was superficial;the teaching methodology is too simple;the lack of cultural environment etc..The main causes of these problems lies the.rural middle schools didn' t value the integration of local culture and class,they have no excellent management and evaluation mechanism;teachers lack the knowledge and teaching resource of local culture;the lack of teaching ability of teachers at rural culture made the integration ineffective;the impact of modern civilization made the rural middle school class lake of culture environment.Therefore,this study puts forward some suggestions:pay more attention on the integration of local culture and class,and establish evaluation management mechanism;enrich the teachers' knowledge of local culture,establish local culture teaching resources base;teachers carry out collective research teaching and researching activities regularly,expand more local culture integrated teaching methods;improve the local culture atmosphere,create an environment for integrating local culture into class.This study put forward these four aspects reasonable suggestions to improve the integration of local culture and middle school class.
