Under the background of new course standard,math homework is an indispensable link for students to acquire knowledge,cultivate their thinking ability and operation ability.It is also an important window to strengthen the communication between teachers and students and an effective means to enhance teaching effect and control teaching activities.Besides,it is an important way for students to consolidate knowledge,deepen knowledge and form skills.Therefore,high school mathematics teachers should attach great importance to it.Through questionnaire survey,case analysis and comparative study of students and teachers in a senior high school of Lanzhou City,the author finds there are some problems in the design of math homework,and that students have bad habits and negative attitude to their math homework.Specific situation is reflected in the following aspects:(1)mathematics teachers have strong utilitarian when assigning math homework.Most mathematics teachers think homework is an important method for students to enhance mark,consolidate knowledge,and improve their ability to solve problems,but neglecting the cultivation of students' value and emotional attitude;(2)the degree of difficulty and quantity of mathematics homework are unreasonable,which does not conform to the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,leading to students' heavy schoolwork and serious phenomenon that students cope with their homework indifferently;(3)the type of mathematics homework assigned by teacher is single,causing students' boredom with math homework and the loss of interest in learning mathematics;(4)mathematics teachers don't correct students' homework timely and the evaluation method is single,which cause students to fail to get timely and effective feedback information;(5)students lack the sense of independentthinking when doing homework,the way to solve mathematics problem is single,and their ability to summarize is generally low;(6)students don't have the ability to discover,analyze and solve problems.In view of the above-mentioned issues,the paper,through investigation and analysis,puts forward the following methods teachers should use to optimize students' math schoolwork:(1)spend more time studying problems in textbooks;(2)based on “double-base”,attach importance to fundamental schoolwork;(3)pay attention to students' differences;(4)design more open math homework;(5)design practical math homework;(6)value applied homework;(7)lay stress on the evaluation of homework.On the basis of knowledge point in every class,students should independently design homework,make variant of examples and exercises in textbooks,and work together to complete the task.Through practice and trial,the author finds the teaching experience of teachers and the study habits,attitude and grade of students have equally improved.
