Chinese,as a native subject in China,has the function of inheriting and carrying forward Chinese culture.Therefore,Chinese curriculum of Senior High School should emphasize its important function of cultural inheritance and development.It is necessary to apply local curriculum resources into Chinese curriculum of Senior High School,for it can not only improve Chinese Education of Senior High School,but also promote Chinese culture inheritance and development.While in Hangzhou,the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is regarded as lifeblood of Hangzhou,which was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2014.It is showed that Hangzhou Canal culture is a kind of local curriculum resource which is very valuable.This thesis aims to investigate the development and utilization of Chinese local curriculum resources based on a case of Hangzhou Canal culture.The whole thesis is made up of seven chapters.Introduction part mainly introduces some relevant concepts about the research,the purpose and the significance of the research,literature review and research instruments.Chapter one presents the necessity of the development and utilization of Chinese local curriculum resources from teachers' perspective,students' perspective and curriculum development's perspective.It also presents the feasibility of the development and utilization of Chinese local curriculum resources from both theoretic and practical aspects.Chapter two mainly introduces the current situation of the development and utilization of Chinese local curriculum resources.Some potential problems will be found out and discussed.Based on the problems,some measures towards developing and utilizing Chinese local curriculum resources will be discussed in latter parts.Chapter three clarifies the principles of developing and utilizing Chinese local curriculum resources,which include five principles.They are the endemicity,the applicability,the practicality,the comprehensiveness and the high efficiency.Chapter four mainly introduces the ways of developing Chinese local curriculum resources,including the development of teachers' and teaching materials' resources,and establish a system of sharing and balancing curriculum resources.Chapter fivepresents the ways of utilizing Chinese local curriculum resources,including supplementing the Chinese compulsory courses,the Chinese selective courses,Chinese extracurricular activities and investigative study based on several cases.On the basis of the Chapter five,Chapter six points out the key part of the development and utilization of Chinese local curriculum resources of Senior High School.In addition,it summarizes that teachers should realize that in the process of teaching,they need to form the consciousness,create a student-oriented class,improve theoretical abilities and pay attention to the experiential learning.At the same time,teachers should pay attention to the teaching procedures and make scientific assessments on some related curriculum.
