As a basic subject in compulsory education, Chinese lessons is in nature undertaking more responsibility for culture inheritance and promotion. Since curriculum innovation gradually evolved, districts and departments have all been doubling their effort in support of curriculum resources. Hangzhou is a city with profound cultural heritage as well as rich curriculum resources. Thus, it makes sense to develop local culture in Hangzhou as an important language curriculum resources and implement reasonable integration into junior high school language curriculum. This paper begins, from theoretical point of view, with reaffirming the importance of developing local cultural resources. Then we study from the teaching practice, discuss how to penetrate the local culture in Hangzhou, of what specific principles and methods during junior high school language curriculum.This paper is divided into four parts, of which the first is the introduction. This section briefly describes the background and the main methods used in the study of research. Chapter 1 outlines the content of the Hangzhou local culture. Chapter 2 explains the necessity of Hangzhou local culture integration into the language courses from both theoretical and practical aspects. Chapter 3, based on two chapters above, focuses on how to integrate the Hangzhou local culture into Chinese Course.The first step is to establish the principles of Hangzhou local cultural development. The next step is to clarify how to make ingenious use of the Hangzhou local culture through specific related teaching cases. The third step is to go out from the classroom, having a vision for combination of the Hangzhou local culture and extra-curricular activities. Step four is to offer a proposal to carry out special study of Hangzhou culture through organisations of cultural association; a number of specific measures for the evaluation of the cultural community is cited especially. It concludes with recommendations for establishing an research team of language courses development.
