The Research On Classical Words Teaching In Senior High School Chinese Compulsory Textbooks

Many years' teaching practices have proved that it is the teaching of classical words that is one of the most difficult points in high school's classical Chinese teaching which has been wildly stressed.Thus,classical words became the part that both teachers and students all want to avoid.According to this current situation,the aim of the research is to find out the effective methods of classical words teaching.The research studies the eighteen important classical words in senior high school Chinese textbooks and summarizes the typical characteristics and regulations of each classical word,with its base on the detailed statistics about the distribution of the 18 classical words.A questionnaire done by students and teachers from the three grades in No.33 Middle School was made and analyzed to find out the recent teaching of the 18 must classical words in senior high school and the reasons of the problems,thus getting the problems existing in the teaching of high school classical words,which lie in students' lack of impetus to study,single teaching method,a lack of total planning and training in teaching periods,a lack of systematic knowledge of classical words of teachers and so on.In addition,on the basis of data collections,exams,surveys and analyses,the author find out that 18 classical words in Bao Tou33 Middle school lie in some situations,including one conjuction“?”,two adverds“?”and“?”,two preposition that are“?”and “?”.Then some specific methods are put forward by the author on teaching of classical words on the basis of the practical teaching experiences of the author.First,according to the distribution of the classical words,take steps to teach classical words and change the routine of meeting while solving.Second,identify the use of classical words and judge and choose the meaning of classical words with the help of grammar and context,then teachers do help students have a good command of them by applying the rules and regulations.Third,pay more attention to the stimulation of the classical words.The author manages to help the students the meanings of classical words through context by analyzing the examples of texts in details.Forth,underline the importance of the combination between the phase trainings and overall training.The author stresses the necessity of the combination of 18 classical words and put forward the strategies of combination of language points of 18 classical words.At last,the author reflects from two aspects.One is from the achievement of classical words teaching,the other is from the lacking parts when teaching classical words.The improved teaching methods pay more attention to students,to solving the difficult points effectively,to enhancing students' sense of summarizing what they have learnt and to improving students' awareness of the value of the classical words.Still there are something that are not that perfect,namely,teachers should go on fulfilling the complete knowledge structure of classical words as well as tress the combination of learning from teachers in class and learning by themselves after class and encourage self-dependent exploration and so on.
