In 2014,the Ministry of Education of China put forward the training objectives for cultivating students' core qualities,hoping to cultivate students with the key abilities and necessary qualities to adapt to social and personal development.Since scientific literacy is a must for every modern person,the goal of science education during compulsory education stage is to cultivate students with critical thinking and make sure that they are able to make rational decisions in science-related personal lives and public issues in the future.In order to enable students to cope with the challenges of the future life and succeed in an information-based society with a shorter knowledge refresh cycle and doubling the total amount of knowledge every five years,cultivating students' ability to solve problems is far more important than just teaching them knowledge.Under such a background,the mode and focus of assessment need to be changed since the evaluation of students is oriented toward teaching.The focus of the evaluation should transition from assessing students' knowledge to assessing students' ability to solve problems.This study is based on PISA(Programme for International Student Assessment),studying the evaluation of junior students' Physics subject from theoretical and empirical aspects.Firstly,doing a theoretical study on the status quo of the evaluation of junior high school student in Physics subject and the evaluation system of PISA,understanding the current major evaluation methods and evaluation priorities of China's junior high school physics and the problems existing in the existing evaluation system,and analyzing PISA2015 scientific literacy in depth,including the concept of evaluation,test framework and content,evaluation tools,etc.Secondly,learning and studying the science literacy of junior high school students by using PISA questions.Preparing analog PISA test papers and normal test papers which have correspondingknowledge points.Through the test,understanding students' performance in the PISA evaluation system and the problems reflected in the performance.And then,preparing interview outlines for students and teachers based on the problems reflected in the test result and selecting representative students and teachers to interview.Then analyzing the contents of interviews.Through these two parts of the study,combining the theoretical research of evaluation system with practice testing,aiming to find student evaluation methods consistent with the training goals,which can truly reflect the student's ability and diagnose teaching quality to find ways to improve teaching quality.
