With the update and development of the knowledge age,the professionalization of teachers has prompted them to make an effective career planning.Scientific and effective career planning can improve the professional development level of teachers,thus improving the development of education quality of China.The backbone teachers,playing a leading role,are the core of the primary school teachers.This paper starts from the current situation of the career planning of the backbone teachers in primary schools,and accurately grasps the problems existing in the current career planning of primary school teachers,thus promoting their career development.First,this paper studies the current situation of the lack of career planning of backbone teachers in primary schools by consulting literature,questionnaires,interviews and other methods,based on the theory of career construction: Primary school teachers do not have enough knowledge of career planning;they lack planning actions although they know the importance of career planning;they lack basic skills in career planning;school organizations lack the awareness of career planning for backbone teachers;school organizations lack training and management of career planning for backbone teachers.Second,this paper analyzes the reasons for the problems in the career planning of primary school backbone teachers from three aspects,on the basis of the current situation research:In the personal aspect: backbone teachers begin to have the feeling of burnout to their career,lack of development motivation and the heavy work makes the primary school teachers have no time to take care of their career planning.In the school organizations aspect: they do not pay attention to the career planning of the backbone teachers;no enough training and support for the teacher's career planning;the evaluation system for the backbone teachers is unreasonable;school organizations lack feedback mechanism and tracking of the career planning of backbone teachers.In the social and family aspects: the primary school teachers have low occupation status and heavy family burden.Finally,starting from the reasons,this paper put forward corresponding strategies and suggestions: In the social and family aspects: Society should enhance understanding and respect to backbone teachers;backbone teachers should find a balance between family and work,and gain support from family members.In the School organization aspect: Pay attention to the career planning of backbone teachers;provide professional training and guidance;strengthen the management of career planning of backbone teachers;improve the incentives of backbone teachers of primary schools,and build a platform for the “second growth” of backbone teachers.In the personal aspect: Focus on the importance of career planning;establish a career planning concept;master basic planning knowledge,improve self-planning skills,overcome burnout,and promote “second growth”.
